self enlightenment exercise no. 11 

Say out loud any of the following affirmations that seem to resonate with your life at this time. 

  • I accept life’s challenges
  • I learn from every set-back and success
  • I engage with the opportunities of today
  • I live with passion and purpose
  • I value the times of my past
  • I treasure the unique story of my life
  • I cherish the lives of others
  • I give and receive friendship generously
  • I permit myself to happiness
  • I experience pleasure every day
  • I trust in the power of free will
  • I think and do as I please
  • I defend what I know to be right
  • I stand firm and without fear
  • I am glad to be alive
  • My life is precious and significant
  • I see beauty in the universe
  • I am at peace and at home here

NOTES
In everyday thinking, there is often a background chatter of negative thoughts.  Positive affirmation is therefore a simple method for achieving a more balanced state of mind.

I often have this on in the background so when I do get to sit down I hear nice words. For some reason we don't seem to get board of hearing the same thing (possibly cause we are hearing nice things about us)
