SELF EMPOWERMENT

May 27, 2008

self enlightenment exercise no. 7

Take a moment to think about all the various tasks that you find so difficult to start or finish.

Now, is there one task that stands out as being important and achievable? Let just this one task come forward in your mind…

Now, visualize the feelings you will have when this task is accomplished… the sense of Achievement, Purpose, Clarity and Self Worth.

Make a commitment to yourself right now to accomplish just this one task.

Say the following words to yourself…
‘I   will   do   this’
Say these words again, but with more feeling…
‘I   will   do   this’

You’re going to feel great about yourself.
Go do it.

NOTES
Whatever the task you complete, it will empower you to succeed with others.

I hope you are enjoying the exercises on this program and noticing real benefits in daily life.

Please post a comment about how you got on with this exercise and I will gladly post a reply.

Hi,
I have listened to some of your download samples on different days now. I do believe that your programs can help people to achieve their aims. But in fact it's a great pity that your programs are not offered in other european languages as well. I myself - and I'm pretty shure that my english is not to bad to get along - sometimes but do have problems to follow the voice an/or to catch what the speakers are trying to tell me. If one has to get too much centred on the words, one cannot release tensions as she/he should.

Best wishes
Lutz

Hi Lutz,
Yes it makes achieving a meditative state harder, when the miind has the distraction of translating from english. As you might imagine it is quite a bit of work translating the guided meditations into other languages. It is very difficult to get the nuances and suggestions in guided meditation correct. The accent and wordings have to be perfect, or the meditation magic is broken. We are currently working on a German and French sleep meditation, which should go live on the meditainment.com web site, in October. The German and French voices are wonderful and we have had nothing but good feedback so far.

Hi, I'd like to say a huge "Thank you". I have had very positive results from two of your exercises now. I like to use this particular one in relation to finishing work related tasks... I get into such a rut bringing work home and then still not completing it. When i visualised and "felt" myself returning completed pieces, it was a powerful image. Thank you for what you are offering out to myself and others.

Thank you Richard for this very simple but also very powerful affirmation exercise!
I find myself (in my new business) on the web becoming quite distracted as I am constantly researching for the information that I need.
I used those words today, and they did seem to keep me more focused! So I have decided to take those words "I Will Do This,"and keep on repeating them,(with feeling of course)and I do feel very confident that it will empower me to keep focused on each individual task at a time, instead of wanting to stray off in another direction!
So thank you so much! I feel so enlightened! Much love & light to you, Tina

Hi, I find mediheaven a real treat. Love the breaks it gives me and just listening to the music relaxes me . One nit picky thing is that in the chill out meditation there is this snow storm and your faithful dog, but you leave the dog outside instead of taking him in the igloo with you. The first time I did this meditation it really disturbed me and I couldn't stop thinking about that dog! The next time it came up in mind coach I altered the thought and brought that Husky inside and pet him which was soothing. I love this program and my imagination thanks you.
